This are the terms and conditions of our shop. Please read this carefully before making any purchases.
Warrant and returns
Warranty
Our warranty periods are as follows:
- 1 year: All high-power air rifles and pistols
- 90 days: All high-end metal gearboxed BB AEGs and sniper rifles
- 60 days: All low-power single-shot BB guns
- 30 days: All low-power plastic gearboxed BB guns
If your order falls outside the warranty period, please contact us, and we will do our best to assist you.
Returns
If you need to return a product to us for any reason, please reach out to us first to discuss the issue. When sending the item back, make sure to include a copy of your packing slip or invoice and a brief description of the reason for the return. Please note that all returns are subject to testing. If an item is found not to be faulty or if the fault is due to misuse or other reasons mentioned in the exclusions list below, we will return the item to you, and you will be responsible for the postage charges.
When returning items to us, ensure they are well packed and adequately protected. We cannot be held responsible for damage during transit on its way back to us.
If you decide you no longer want your order, we offer a 7-day cooling-off period within which you can return any item directly sent to you. Please note that this does not apply to personalized or customized items, special orders, or any orders that require a face-to-face transaction. When returning items in this manner, ensure they are in their original condition with all supplied accessories and in undamaged packaging.
If your item is found to be faulty within the first calendar month from the date of delivery, please contact us for a refund, replacement, or repair. It’s essential to keep all packaging in good condition, as we may not be able to refund without it. Items damaged due to misuse or neglect is not covered.
When returning an air rifle or pistol to us, you can send them directly. The face-to-face transaction is only necessary during the original sale.
The cost of the “Within 25 miles delivery to your door” service will not be refunded once you’ve completed the “face-to-face” transaction, as you’ve already received the service.
Please refrain from attempting to repair your items yourself, as it will invalidate your warranty. All returns undergo thorough checks and testing. If we find that an item has been tampered with, we will not offer a refund and will provide a quote for the cost of repairing the item. If you decline the repair, the item will be returned to you, and you will be responsible for the postage costs.
Our warranty does not cover the following:
- Shipping costs for returning items to us
- Problems caused by accidental or negligent damage
- Routine maintenance
- Certain high-wear components, such as hop rubber, O-rings, pistons, gas magazines, and more
- Problems arising from misuse
- Problems arising from any repairs or upgrades not carried out by Sussex Shooting.
- Problems arising from the use of sub-standard ammunition
You will invalidate your warranty if:
- Your item has been altered or adjusted in any way (unless done by our engineers)
- You use CO2 capsules not designed for air weapons
- Problems arise from the use of sub-standard BBs
- You use any lubricant not recommended by us (never use WD40)
- Charging your battery for longer than the recommended time, which could pose a fire hazard
- You use any gas other than 134a/144a or Abbey Predator Ultra in your Marui GBB
English law governs these conditions of use, and any dispute related to this site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
Any refunds granted outside the first 7 days will have the delivery costs deducted, along with a 15% restocking fee.

Safety
Some of the items we sell are dangerous, and it is your responsibility to use them safely and in compliance with the law. We cannot be held responsible for negligent or unsafe use of any of our products.
If you possess an Imitation Firearm (two-tone or clear plastic), do not attempt to modify it into a Realistic Imitation Firearm, as it is illegal and can lead to up to a year in prison or a fine up to level 5 on the standard scale (currently £5,000), or both. Please refrain from discussing this with us, as we may refuse service without a legal defense.
Additional services
Please note that while we do charge for paint spraying, it does not result in a high-end paint job, and there may be minor imperfections in the finish. The paint may wear or chip over time or with contact due to the varying nature of the products.
Accuracy of information
All information is accurate at the time each product is listed, but in rare cases, certain details may change without our knowledge. If this happens and the item is not supplied as stated, please contact us as soon as you become aware, and we will rectify the issue for you and update the information on our website.
We strive to stay informed about all current legislation related to the items we sell, but we are not legal professionals, and our interpretation may differ significantly from someone in the legal profession. We offer some guidelines for use within the law, but these should be considered as general advice. For more definitive information, consult a lawyer or contact the BASC in the case of Air Rifles, Pistols, pest control, and hunting.
Online discounts
Online discounts apply in-store only when mentioned before payment is made. Please remember to inquire about online discounts in person at the store to avoid being charged the full price.
